UV germicidal systems and cottonwood screens — installed right, by people who know HVAC.
Cottonwood Screens
Every spring, cottonwood fluff, seed pods, and airborne debris blanket rooftop HVAC units across Wisconsin. Within days, condenser coils can be completely choked — reducing airflow, spiking energy use, and in severe cases, shutting down cooling entirely.
FCI supplies and installs custom-fit cottonwood screens that wrap your rooftop units before the season hits. Your coils stay clean, your system keeps running, and you never have to think about it.
- Blocks cottonwood, seed pods, and airborne debris before they reach coils
- Maintains airflow — unlike clogged coils, screens stay serviceable
- Prevents coil choking that causes system shutdowns in peak season
- Custom-fit to any rooftop unit — no gaps, full coverage

How It Works
Three steps and your coils are protected before the season hits.
Site Visit
We come to your facility, measure every rooftop unit, and assess intake areas to determine the right screen configuration.
Custom Fabrication
Screens are cut to exact dimensions for your specific units — no gaps, no guessing, full coverage from edge to edge.
Installation Day
We install everything before cottonwood season starts. Your coils are covered and you don't have to think about it again.
10-Year Warranty
Every screen installation is backed by a 10-year warranty. If anything is damaged or breaks, all parts and materials are fully covered — no questions asked.
Chiller
Chiller systems are especially vulnerable to cottonwood and airborne debris clogging condenser coils during peak cooling season. A custom-fit cottonwood screen on the outdoor intake prevents fouling before it starts — keeping the chiller running at full efficiency all summer.

UV Germicidal Systems
UV-C germicidal lamps installed inside your air handling units continuously irradiate coils and drain pans — eliminating the mold, bacteria, and biofilm that standard filters can't catch. The result is cleaner air, cleaner coils, and a system that runs more efficiently year-round.
FCI handles the full installation — sizing the right lamps for your unit, positioning them for maximum germicidal coverage, and replacing bulbs on a regular maintenance schedule so the system never lapses.
- Kills bacteria, mold, and viruses on coils and in airstream
- Improves air quality without chemicals or filters
- Keeps coils clean — improves heat transfer and efficiency
- Reduces sick days in offices, schools, and healthcare facilities
UV System
UV-C germicidal lamps installed inside air handling units continuously irradiate coils, drain pans, and the airstream — eliminating mold, bacteria, and biofilm that standard filters cannot catch. Properly positioned lamps deliver maximum germicidal coverage across the coil face and downstream supply air.
